چکیده
Identifying model parameters is nowadays intrinsically linked with quantifying the associated uncertainties. While classical methods allow to handle some types of uncertainties such as experimental noise, they are not designed take into account variability between different test specimens, significant in particular for composites materials. The estimation impact this intrinsic on material properties can be achieved using population approaches where modeled by a probability distribution (e.g., multivariate Gaussian distribution). objective calibrate (or equivalently its parametric Among found mixed-effects models that characterize each replication decomposed averaged behavior (called fixed-effects) and random-effects). Yet, when number or computational time single run simulations increases (for multiaxial instance), simultaneous, global identification all difficult because unknown quantities estimate required evaluations. Concrete Constitutive Model, Calibration and Applications
A methodology has been developed for characterising the mechanical behaviour of concrete, based on the damaged plasticity model, enriched with a user subroutine (V)USDFLD in order to capture better the ductility of the material under moderate confining pressures. The model has been applied in the context of the international benchmark IRIS_2012, organised by the OECD/NEA/CSNI Nuclear Energy Age...
متن کاملSequential calibration of options
Robust calibration of option valuationmodels to quoted option prices is non-trivial but crucial for good performance.A framework based on the state-space formulation of the option valuation model is introduced. Non-linear (Kalman) filters are needed to do inference since the models have latent variables (e.g. volatility). The statistical framework is made adaptive by introducing stochastic dyna...
متن کاملStochastic isotropic hyperelastic materials: constitutive calibration and model selection
Biological and synthetic materials often exhibit intrinsic variability in their elastic responses under large strains, owing to microstructural inhomogeneity or when elastic data are extracted from viscoelastic mechanical tests. For these materials, although hyperelastic models calibrated to mean data are useful, stochastic representations accounting also for data dispersion carry extra informa...
متن کاملAutomatic Calibration of HEC-HMS Model Using Multi-Objective Fuzzy Optimal Models
Estimation of parameters of a hydrologic model is undertaken using a procedure called “calibration” in order to obtain predictions as close as possible to observed values. This study aimed to use the particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm for automatic calibration of the HEC-HMS hydrologic model, which includes a library of different event-based models for simulating the rainfall-runoff pr...
